Overview

This role is suitable for a person with a business development aptitude, commitment to succeed and eager to speed up own personal success, development and wealth.

You will play an important role in maintaining and developing our West Coast operation. One of your primary responsibility to develop our growth will be to maintain the current customer database, to find new customers and to show them you are able to address their technical questions related to our products.

Your current network should preferably be very extensive in life science area, pharmaceutical and biotechnology.

 

LIVES International products and services are designed to meet the needs of the Pharmaceutical / Lifesciences industry and so a knowledge and experience of the needs and regulatory obligations in these sectors is essential.

 

We design and manufacture class leading solutions for Thermal Mapping and Validations, Continuous Monitoring and Cold Chain Monitoring. Our business in the USA has been developed with a long-term vision in mind. Our aim is to become the market leader in the USA to enjoy the great success, growth and excellence we currently experience in Europe and Asia.

 

Reporting to

The CEO of the company

 

Location

The primary place of work will be your home office on the West Coast of the USA.

Our main offices are based in Nashua, NH.

You will also be required to carry out work at customer sites throughout USA with the occasional international travel for meetings and events.

 

Region

The region covers the West Coast of the USA, mainly CA, OR, WA but not limited to.

 

Responsibilities

 

Customer relations and business development

·       Identifying key personnel and monitoring any changes to these

·       Developing and maintaining close relationships with key personnel

·       Generate sales opportunities through your regular customer contact

·       Following up on quotations and sales opportunities by working with business development

·       Maintaining a knowledge of events and activity which impact on sales such as new projects

·       Communicating new product and service developments to generate new opportunities

·       Being aware of the regulatory obligations that apply to both LIVES INTERNATIONAL and our customers and how these can be used to generate new opportunities.

·       Use our internal CRM platform

·       Carry out user training once the systems have been delivered

·       Provide technical support by visiting sites, video conferencing, telephone and email

·       Delivery of goods in person when required

Requirements

Skills Required

The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in as many of the following areas as possible.

·       Technical knowledge in measurement instrumentation such as temperature, pressure, relative humidity and CO2.

·       Knowledge of data loggers and associated software

·       Knowledge of temperature mapping and thermal validation

·       Equipment and applications such as Autoclaves, Lyophilizers, SIP, Depyrogenation tunnels, ULT Freezers and temperature-controlled storage units.

·       Able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.

·       Able to work independently and be self-motivated.
